Moylough Resource Enterprise & Heritage Centre wish to congratulate the participants of the Lecture Series on a wonderful display of local history projects on Sunday last. The strong community support was greatly appreciated on the day. Many thanks to Zena Hoctor & Christy Cunniffe NUIG Lecturers, Marie Mannion Heritage Officer and Miriam Stewart GRD for their attendance, words of encouragement and their continued support.
We thank John Doyle & the Doyle family for their co-operation and hospitality during this and many other projects. They have been most generous with their time and knowledge. They opened their family home “Lakeview House” to us on a crisp November morning after a wonderful guided tour.
Thank you John for preserving and sharing the Windmill and all the other historical features on your property.
